Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Werner Rode. Major Werner Rode (06.11.1912 in Dortmund † 02.11.2002 in Dortmund) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 17, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Chef of the 2. Kompanie/ Kradschützen-Bataillon 34 of the 4. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
