Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel Wilhelm Dipberger (30.05.1918 † 20.09.2005) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on November 17, 1942 as Oberfeldwebel in the III. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 6 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on January 9, 1945 as Fahnenjunker-Oberfeldwebel und Beobachter in the Stab/ Kampfgeschwader 6.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
