Original Award document of Grenadier Hvalinka, who earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (Wound Badge in Black) for his wound sustained on December 8, 1942 during the Battle of Stalingrad, while serving with the 1. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 131 of the 44. Infanterie-Division. This division was destroyed in Stalingrad! Condition as seen, has been folded in the past.
