Original German Wound Badge in Silver (Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber), manufactured in silvered Buntmetall (tombak).
This particular example is unmarked, but its construction and characteristics are consistent with the production attributed to Grossmann & Co., Vienna. Grossmann examples are known in both marked and unmarked configurations, with the maker code “11” being associated with the firm.
