WWII German “Tag der Wehrmacht” Set – Certificate + Badge & Tag – Nachrichten-Ersatz-Batterie 5

Original wartime German Wehrmacht “Trauschein” (marriage certificate), hanger and WHW “Tag der Wehrmacht” Tinnie grouping from Nachrichten-Ersatz-Batterie 5 (Signals Replacement Battery 5).

This charming and unusual morale-related item was issued during the “Tag der Deutschen Wehrmacht” (Day of the German Wehrmacht), a propaganda and fundraising event organized throughout the Third Reich to promote military solidarity and collect donations, often for winter relief or wartime welfare causes.

The set consists of:

• Original printed pink Trauschein certificate
• Original blue-green hanging event tag
• Original WHW “Tag der Wehrmacht”

The certificate humorously states that on the “Day of the German Wehrmacht,” couples were “militarily, quickly and safely married” in the battery’s marriage hall. It wishes the couple happiness, success, and blessings with children.

The blue hanging tag reads: “NACHR.-ERS.-BATTR. 5 – TAG DER DEUTSCHEN WEHRMACHT”

A scarce and attractive display piece combining:

• Wehrmacht signals history
• wartime humor / morale items
• propaganda ephemera
• WHW fundraising material

Condition is very good overall with minor age wear, as shown. Badge retains pin assembly.

A rare and highly displayable original item seldom encountered on the market.
