WWII Soviet Medal for the Defence of Stalingrad Award Document – Battle of Stalingrad

€90,00

Original WWII Soviet Medal for the Defence of Stalingrad award document, awarded to Ivanov Nikolai Sergeevich (Иванов Николай Сергеевич).

This award document certifies participation in the heroic defense of Stalingrad, one of the most decisive and brutal battles of the Second World War. The medal itself was instituted on 22 December 1942 and awarded to military personnel and civilians involved in the defense of the city.

This example is a named document issued in 1946, making it a nice postwar-issued wartime award certificate. Such documents remain highly collectible due to the historical significance of the Battle of Stalingrad.

The document is numbered 23607 and retains its official stamp and signature. Condition is good overall, showing normal age-related wear, folds, and light staining consistent with storage and age.
