Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Horst von Mellenthin. General der Artillerie Horst von Mellenthin (31.07.1898 † 08.01.1977) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 10, 1944 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 205. Infanterie-Division and the Eichenlaub on April 4, 1945 holding the same command. Condition as seen. Postcardsize.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
