Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Peter Frantz. Major im Generalstab Peter Frantz (24.07.1917 † 11.03.2001) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on June 4, 1942 as Oberleutnant und Chef of the 16. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment “Grossdeutschland” and the Eichenlaub on April 14, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung “Grossdeutschland”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
