Oberstleutnant Hermann Siggel (29.12.1910 in Wismar † 15.04.1981 in Ebersberg) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on September 26, 1942; the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on June 9, 1944 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur of the Grenadier-Regiment 172 and the Eichenlaub on August 16, 1944 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur of the Grenadier-Regiment 172 of the 75. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
