Generalleutnant Wend von Wietersheim (18.04.1900 †19.09.1975) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 10, 1942 as Oberstleutnant und Kommandeur and the Eichenlaub on January 12, 1943 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Panzergrenadier-Regiment 113 of the 1. Panzer-Division and the Schwertern on March 26, 1944 as Generalmajor und Kommandeur of the 11. Panzer-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
