Major Heinz Finke (08.02.1920 in Alt-Jauer † 07.12.1996 in Munich) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on May 4, 1944 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 51 of the 18. Panzergrenadier-Division and the Nahkampfspange in Gold in February 1945.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
