Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Gerhard Bielig. Kapitänleutnant (Ing.) Gerhard Bielig (28.04.1916 † 29.10.2004) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on December 9, 1941 as Oberleutnant (Ing.) und Leitender Ingenieur of U-Boot “U-103” and the Ritterkreuz on February 10, 1943 as Kapitänleutnant (Ing.) und Leitender Ingenieur of U-Boot “U-177”. Size: 7,4×10,5cm.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
