Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Erich Eichler. Hauptmann Erich Eichler (19.08.1914 † 08.03.2003) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 21, 1944 as Hauptmann with the II. Abteilung/ Artillerie-Regiment 20 of the 20. Panzer-Grenadier-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
