Generalleutnant Friedrich Albert Foertsch (19.05.1900 in Drahnow † 14.12.1976 in Goslar) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on May 10, 1943 with Armee-Oberkommando 18 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 5, 1944 as Generalmajor und Chef des Generalstabes of the 18. Armee. Larger Size: 12,9x18cm.
Brother of General der Infanterie Hermann Foertsch.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
