An original Second World War Alpine Montan A.G. “Hermann Göring” Linz factory identification badge, complete with its original metal holder and employee identification card.

The badge was issued for employment at the Krieglach Works (Werk Krieglach), where the holder worked as a Schlosser (Locksmith/Fitter). It is named to Ludwig Pesendorfer, born 20 September 1913, residing in Mürzzuschlag, Austria. The pass was issued on 8 July 1940 and bears the original factory number A07.957 together with the employee’s portrait photograph and signature.

The Reichswerke Hermann Göring industrial complex was one of the Third Reich’s largest state-controlled industrial enterprises, responsible for the production of steel, iron, and strategic war materials.
