The certificate is dated Vienna, 20 April 1943. It was issued by the Deputy Commanding General of the XVII Army Corps and Commander of Military District XVII (Der stellv. Kommandierende General des XVII. Armeekorps und Befehlshaber im Wehrkreis XVII).
The document bears the prominent blue handwritten signature of General Alfred Streccius, together with an official circular military service seal. The award and award-list reference numbers are also printed or typed in the lower section.
This is an original German military award document from 1943, with a named recipient, unit identification and an identifiable command authority.
Condition: Two punched filing holes along the left margin, a horizontal fold across the paper, light age-related discoloration and minor marks. The blue signature remains bold and clearly visible, while the official seal is somewhat faded. Please examine the photograph for the full condition.
