An original German commemorative badge for the Tag der Kriegsbeschädigten (Day of War Disabled Veterans), dated 20. August 1933.
The badge features a striking shield-shaped design, incorporating a German eagle with outstretched wings above a central cross surrounded by an oak-leaf wreath. The lower section bears the inscription „Tag der Kriegsbeschädigten“, referring to the event commemorated.
The reverse is fitted with its original vertical pin attachment. The upper banner carries an additional period inscription.
Condition
Good overall condition, with visible age-related wear, surface patina and some loss of the original finish. The reverse retains its pin attachment.
