Original WH Heer Panzerjäger-Abteilung 38 Summer Tunic for a Hauptmann. I was able to identify the owner as Hauptmann Freiherr von Süsskind-Schwendi, the tailor tag with name is mostly washed out but with some different lightning and factchecking, the only possibility is him. The tunic is in nicely worn condition with all its original effects still attached. The tunic has room to hang one award (EK1 here since he earned it in 1940 when he was Hauptmann).

This has been acquired seperately from his Visor cap that we also have for sale. The items were sold in different auctions via an auction house. We’ll give a discount for the one who wants to keep it together and buys the time!

Original 6x Ordensspange (Medal Bar) consisting of the:

1. Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914

   • Awarded in the German Empire during World War I.

   • The cross bears the “W” for Kaiser Wilhelm and the year 1914.

2. Merit Cross for War Aid (Kriegs-Hilfsdienstkreuz)

   • Issued during World War I to civilians and military personnel who contributed to the war effort.

3. War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords

   • Awarded for merit under wartime conditions, but not necessarily for direct combat.

4. Honor Cross of the World War 1914–1918 (Hindenburg Cross)

   • Awarded to World War I veterans by the Third Reich in the 1930s.

5. Wehrmacht Service Award for 25 Years

   • Awarded to Wehrmacht personnel for 25 years of military service.

6. Wehrmacht Service Award for 12 Years

   • Awarded to Wehrmacht personnel for 12 years of military service.

These medals are mounted together as a “medal bar” (Ordenspange), commonly worn on uniforms for formal occasions. This particular set likely belonged to a veteran who served in both World Wars and had a long military or public service career.

A rare and historically significant set comprising the death notification letter and a selection of original photographs of Fritz Klasing, a distinguished recipient of the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves.

Accompanying the death letter (postwar) are several period photographs showcasing Klasing in uniform and civil, including several wearing his Knight’s Cross. These photographs are believed to be unpublished and offer collectors a rare glimpse into Klasing’s military service and personality.

Original Kriegsmarine Souvenir Plaque, to be awarded as the 2nd prize in the sailing competition (Standort-Segel-Wettfahrten) held in Mürwik on October 7, 1936 with extra engraving “13.F.S.W.”. SS-Obersturmbannführer Fritz Darges (08.02.1913 in Dülseberg † 25.10.2009 in Celle) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 5, 1945 as SS-Obersturmbannführer und Führer of the SS-Panzer-Regiment 5 of the 5. SS-Panzer-Division “Wiking”. Condition as seen. NOTE: The signature is written on a paper on which a photo in pasted!

SS-Sturmbannführer Heinrich Springer (03.11.1914 † 27.10.2007) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on January 12, 1942 as SS-Hauptsturmführer und Führer of the 3. Kompanie/ “Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler”. Postcardsize. Comes with a letter!

Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Otto Günsche. Otto Günsche (24.09.1917 † 02.10.2003) earned the Verwundetenabzeichen “20. Juli 1944” in Schwarz and was a member of the Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler before he became Adolf Hitler’s personal adjutant. Condition as seen. Postcardsize.

With the end of Nazi Germany imminent, Günsche was tasked by Hitler on 30 April 1945 with ensuring the cremation of his body after his death. That afternoon, he stood guard outside the room in the Führerbunker where Hitler and Eva Braun committed suicide. After waiting a short time, Hitler’s valet, Heinz Linge, opened the study door with Martin Bormann at his side. The two men entered the study with Günsche right behind them. Günsche then left the study and announced that Hitler was dead to a group in the briefing room, which included Joseph Goebbels, General Hans Krebs, and General Wilhelm Burgdorf. Günsche had the table and chairs in the study moved out of the way and blankets were laid out on the floor. Hitler and Braun’s lifeless bodies were then wrapped in blankets. In accordance with Hitler’s prior written and verbal instructions, his and Braun’s bodies were carried up the stairs and through the bunker’s emergency exit to the garden behind the Reich Chancellery to be burned. Having ensured that the corpses were burnt using petrol supplied by Hitler’s chauffeur Erich Kempka, Günsche later left the Führerbunker after midnight on 1 May. On 2 May 1945, Günsche was taken prisoner by Soviet Red Army troops that were encircling the city and flown to Moscow for sharp interrogation by the NKVD.
