Original Soldbuch of Oberleutnant Arno Ringel, who served with the Landesschützen-Bataillon 554. Feldkommandantur 1013. Regimentsgruppe 348 and Grenadier-Regiment 216. The Grenadier-Regiment 216 was part of the 102. Infanterie-Division. He was decorated with the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse and in 1945 the Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse! He was wounded in February 1945 so most likely in fighting in Germany.

Condition as seen. Complete with photo. Extra papers are in the Sodlbuch like his driver’s license etc. Can’t guarantee the EKII and EKI entries due they are a bit off priced accordingly.

KIA Waffen-SS Soldbuch – SS-Artillerie-Regiment “Florian Geyer”

Original KIA Soldbuch of Unteroffizier Eberhard Lieder, who is still listed as Missing however since his Soldbuch is available – this was likely taken from his body. According to the DRK, he most likely went missing during the Battle of Berlin in the many house-to-house fightings which caused a lot of KIA to never be identified as they died solely most of the time without witnesses.

The Soldbuch includes 2 photographs and an award document for the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz.

Soldbuch is complete but in bad condition.

Klasse mit Schwertern and Goldkordel zum Armeltätigskeitsabzeichen des Kraftfahrpersonals der Luftwaffe, both docs are signed by Generalleutnant Bruno Bräuer! 

Bruno Bräuer served as a commander on Crete and then commanded the 9. Fallschirmjäger-Division. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes and executed, along with Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller, on the anniversary of the German invasion of Crete.

Oktober 1938Deutsches Schutzwall-EhrenzeichenEisernes Kreuw 2. Klasse and the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz.

Interesting entries include that of “Kämpfer der Infanterie” below the Fuhrergeschenk entry on page 21. This was an “upgraded version” of the Führergeschenk.

Erkennungsmarke (dogtag) reads -14- 8.(M.G.)J.R.102 meaning 8. (Maschinengewehr) Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 102. Comes with its original pouch.

Generalleutnant Kurt Chill although not very known throughout history however his decision after the retreat in Normandy, when they were on their way to the Netherlands and he saw all other units retreating as well and no frontline being formed (knowing the importance of Antwerp), he ordered all units to get of the train and form a bridgehead at Antwerp to hold off the Allieds. This move most likely made sure the war wouldn’t end as fast for the Allies as hoped (Christmas) but prolonged the war with some extra months.

Several papers for the posthumous award of the WIO and his death. He was Killed in Action on May 8, 1942.195

Original Wehrpass of Oberleutnant Zimmer, born in 1915 and who served during World War II with the 3. and 10. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 26Frontflieger-Sammelgruppe2. Nachtjagddivision2. Jagddivision (Flugbereitschaft)Fliegerzielgeschwader 3Kampfgeschwader 2Jagdgeschwader 108 and ending with Jagdgeschwader 110. During his service, he earned the ReichssportabzeichenVerwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (1.8.40), Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse (30.4.41), Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Bronze (15.6.41) and the Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse (6.6.41). The EK2, FFSiB and EK1 were earned with the 3./ Kampfgeschwader 26.

KG 26 participated in the Battle of the Mediterranean, Battle of the Atlantic and operations on the Eastern Front, against the Arctic Convoys and the Soviet Navy over the Black Sea. I./KG 26 operated off the United Kingdom’s east coast from bases near Aalborg in Denmark. On 27 April it sank the catapult ship HMS Patia off the mouth of the River Tyne. By 15 June 1941 the Gruppe claimed one Cruiser, one Destroyer, 21 smaller ships and 436,186 BRT of merchant shipping
