Bernhard Frank – Obersalzberg (Arrested Hermann Göring)

SS-Obersturmbannführer Dr. Bernhard Frank (15.07.1913 † 29.06.2011) was an SS Commander of the Obersalzberg complex who arrested Hermann Göring on April 25, 1945 by order of Adolf Hitler, who had been manipulated by Reichsleiter Bormann into believing Göring was attempting to usurp the Führer’s authority. Frank placed Göring under house arrest but ignored later orders to execute the Reichsmarschall. Good condition.
Frank was reportedly one of the few Schutzstaffel officers inducted into the rites at Wewelsburg Castle, and after the war claimed that he had arranged the eventual surrender of Berchtesgaden (where Hitler’s mountain residence, the Berghof, was located), to prevent needless damage to the Berghof. He later wrote a 144-page book entitled Hitler, Göring and the Obersalzberg.

€0,01Original Waffen-SS Soldbuch, SS-Führerschein, Betriebsberechtigungsschein and some papers of SS-Rottenführer Johann Haller, who was Killed in Action on April 11, 1945 in Gispersleben, Germany during the Endkampf! He served with the SS-SPW-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Bataillon and the Feldgendarmerie-Kompanie/ SS-Kraftfahr-Ausbildungs und Ersatz-Regiment, stationed in Weimar-Buchenwald and then Bad-Tennstedt. The Soldbuch, SS-Führerschein and Betriebsberechtigungsschein suffer from moist-water damage. The documents were taken from his body (perhaps by a US Soldier) and was then given to the German authorities, who then gave it to his wife. Condition as seen, for the rest it’s complete.
If you type in “Gispersleben 1945” in Google, you’ll find a famous photograph taken of a Killed Waffen-SS soldier in Gispersleben! Could it be him?
