Authentic Wartime Set of Award Documents, Heldentod Urkunde, Papers, Letters and Winter War Medal of Gefreiter Walter Schreck. Unteroffizier (und O.A.) Walter Schreck served in the 1. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 21 & 7. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 21 of the 17. Infanterie-Division until he met his fate on January 2, 1942 when he was Killed in Action by a bullet to the head near Michejewa. During his service, he was decorated with the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber and Winterschlacht im Osten.
The set includes:
- Award document for the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber (Infantry Assault Badge in Silver) which was awarded on September 20, 1941 for 3 infantry assault days during his service while serving with the 1. Kompanie/ Infanterie-Regiment 21
