Hauptmann August Fuchs (07.12.1915 † 15.12.1990) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on April 1, 1944 with Grenadier-Regiment 529 and Ritterkreuz on February 18, 1945 as Hauptmann und Führer of the Kampfgruppe of Feld-Ersatz-Bataillon 299 of the 299. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
