Original Wartime Signature on a Postcard of Dietrich Peltz. Generalmajor Dietrich Peltz (06.09.1914 † 10.08.2001) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 14, 1940 as Oberleutnant with the Stab/ Sturzkampfgeschwader 77, the Eichenlaub on December 31, 1941 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 and the Schwertern on July 1943, 1943 as Oberst im Generalstab of the Angriffsführer England. Good condition. Edges have been cut.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
