Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Eckard Afheldt. Oberleutnant Eckard Afheldt (15.08.1921 in Neustettin † 03.12.1999 in Buchen) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on March 17, 1945 as Oberleutnant und Führer of the II. Bataillon/ Jäger-Regiment 2 of the Division “Brandenburg”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
