Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Erich Schroedter. Rittmeister Erich Schroedter (01.05.1919 in München † 07.12.1994 in Lörrach) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on October 23, 1944 as Rittmeister und Kommandeur of the Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung “Großdeutschland” and the Eichenlaub on March 28, 1945 as Rittmeister und Kommandeur of the Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung “Großdeutschland”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
