Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Ernst Börngen. Hauptmann Ernst Börngen (07.02.1916 in Meuselwitz † 30.06.1989 in Mering) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on August 3, 1944 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 5. Staffel/ Jagdgeschwader 27 (after 40+ victories).
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
