Selling this as a wartime photograph with postwar signature of Ernst Mengersen. Mengersen was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross) for sinking 10 ships (with 44968 GRT) and damaging 1 ship (with 4958 GRT). Included among the sunk ships was the British destroyer HMS Broadwater. Size: 12×8 cm.
