Selling this as a postwar photograph with signature of Ernst Mengersen. Mengersen was awarded the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross) for sinking 10 ships (with 44968 GRT) and damaging 1 ship (with 4958 GRT). Included among the sunk ships was the British destroyer HMS Broadwater.
