Hauptmann Erwin Klose (28.04.1914 in Gleiwitz † 22.06.2003 in Köln) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 10, 1943 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on January 9, 1945 as Hauptmann und Führer of the II. Bataillon/ Jäger-Regiment 28 of the 8. Jäger-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
