Exceptional 12. SS-Panzer-Division “Hitlerjugend” Soldbuch, Wehrpass & Paper Grouping – Normandy & Battle of the Bulge Veteran
A rare and historically rich grouping belonging to a Funker (radio operator) of the elite 12. SS-Panzer-Division “Hitlerjugend”, who served with the SS-Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 12 during some of the fiercest fighting of WWII — including the Battle of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.
Wounded by a bullet to the lung during the Normandy campaign, he was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and returned to duty in October 1944 with the 3. Batterie / SS-Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 12 — the Hummel battery, a particularly rare and sought-after unit within the division.
He survived the war and was taken prisoner in May 1945.
A truly complete and compelling set, ideal for any serious collector.
