Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Fritz Aechtner. Oberfeldwebel Fritz Aechtner (04.03.1916 † 01.05.2007) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 12, 1943 as Oberfeldwebel in the 2. Staffel/ Aufklärungsgruppe 21 and the Ritterkreuz on December 20, 1944 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer / Beobachter in the 1. Staffel/ Nahaufklärungsgruppe 5.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
