SS-Hauptsturmführer Georg Preuß (24.04.1920 † 03.02.1991) earned the Ritterkreuz on February 5, 1945 as SS-Obersturmführer und Führer of the 10./ SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 2 of the 1. SS-Panzer-Division “Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler”. He also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and Nahkampfspange in Gold on April 1, 1945 as SS-Hauptsturmführer und Kommandeur of the III. Bataillon/ SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 2. Signed on the reverse.

Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
