Original Award document Set of Gefreiter Hugo Schneemelcher, who served previously with the Grenadier-Regiment 589 and then the 5. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 915 of the 352. Infanterie-Division. He earned the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse (Iron Cross 2nd Class) for his service on July 16, 1944, which was signed by Generalleutnant Dietrich Kraiss (Eichenlaub) (Killed on August 6, 1944!). Also includes a frontmade Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen award document awarded during the Normandy Campaign (June 26, 1944 and signed by Oberst Goth)! He was also wounded during the Saint-Lo Battle on July 15, 1944. Also comes with Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse award document. Documents have been folded in the past. Condition as seen.
