Groupphoto Luftschutz – Civil Air Defence
IN STOCK
Interesting original wartime photograph showing a group of men involved in Luftschutz (Civil Air Defence) activities, posed outdoors in a wooded area.
The men are wearing work uniforms and caps, with several displaying their Gasmasken (gas masks) carried in protective containers across the chest. A uniformed Luftschutz official is seated prominently at the front of the group.
The photograph offers a glimpse into the organisation and personnel involved in German civil air-defence preparations during the Second World War.
The reverse bears the photographer’s stamp: Photo-Zonke, Tübingerstraße 1, Ebing Eberhardstraße.
Condition
Original photograph with some creasing, surface marks and age-related wear. The edges are irregular, with minor damage consistent with age and handling. Photographer’s stamp remains visible on the reverse.
