Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Johannes “Hans” Geismann. Hauptmann Hans Geismann (20.06.1920 † 15.08.1994) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on October 27, 1942 as Leutnant in 1. Staffel/ Küstenfliegergruppe 606 and the Ritterkreuz on December 21, 1942 as Leutnant und Flugzeugführer in the 1. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 77.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
