Hauptmann Hans-Gotthard Pestke (17.06.1914 † 30.04.2001) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on November 15, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Chef of the 3. Kompanie/ Grenadier-Regiment 176 and the Eichenlaub on October 14, 1943 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the I. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 176 of the 61. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
