Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Hans-Roland Fröbel. Hauptmann Hans-Roland Fröbel (03.10.1921 † ) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on June 1, 1943 as Oberleutnant with the 3. Batterie/ Flak-Regiment 291.
Awarding of the Ritterkreuz has not been confirmed. No certainty is this one has been formally awarded. Several sources state as awarding 8th May or 26th April 1945, Hauptmann and chef in the Flak-Kampfgruppe 287 / Luftkriegschule 8.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
