Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Hartmann Grasser. Major Hartmann Grasser (23.08.1914 † 02.06.1986) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 4, 1941 as Oberleutnant und Flugzeugführer of the II. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 51 “Mölders” and the Eichenlaub on August 31, 1943 as Major und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Jagdgeschwader 51 “Mölders” .
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
