Original WWII German Heer Afrikakorps tropical Schiffchenadler for the tropical side cap (Schiffchen).
This example features a golden-yellow/tan tropical backing with a white/light-coloured embroidered Wehrmacht eagle, typical of tropical Heer headgear used in North Africa.
The insignia shows age-related wear and some damage to the embroidery, giving it an authentic period-used appearance. A scarce and desirable piece of original DAK tropical uniform insignia.
