Waffen-SS Tropical Sturmmann Rank Chevron
Original WWII Waffen-SS Sturmmann tropical rank chevron (Dienstgradwinkel).
Constructed with a black wool triangular backing and the characteristic golden-yellow/tan woven tresse, including fine black detailing. The tropical version was intended for wear on tropical/southern-front uniforms.
The chevron shows age-related wear and patina, with the original construction and materials clearly visible. A nice and desirable piece of original Waffen-SS tropical cloth insignia.
