Original Wartime Signature on a Wartime Postcard of Heinrich “Heinz” Greiner. Generalleutnant Heinrich Greiner (12.08.1895 in Amberg † 19.11.1977 in Rottach-Egem) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 22, 1941 as Oberst und Kommandeur of the Infanterie-Regiment 499 of the 268. Infanterie-Division and the Eichenlaub on September 5, 1944 as Generalleutnant und Kommandeur of the 362. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
