R22) of Knight’s Cross with Oakleaves and Swords Holder Heinz “Pritzl” Bär, who earned the Ritterkreuz on July 2, 1941 as Leutnant in 1./ Jagdgeschwader 51, the Eichenlaub on August 14, 1941 as Leutnant in 1./ Jagdgeschwader 51 and the Schwertern on February 16, 1942 as Hauptmann and Staffelkapitän of 1./ Jagdgeschwader 51. Bär claimed to have shot down 228 enemy aircraft and was credited with 208 aerial victories (16 with the Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter). He was killed in a flying accident on 28 April 1957 near Braunschweig. Good condition. Postcardsize.
