Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Herbert Hampe. Oberfeldwebel Herbert Hampe (10.10.1913 in Delitzsch † 13.09.1999 in Dortmund) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 5, 1944 as Oberfeldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the II. Gruppe/ Kampfgeschwader 3 “Blitz”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
