Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Herbert Panknin. Kapitänleutnant Herbert Panknin (27.12.1913 † 15.03.2001) earned the Ritterkreuz on September 4, 1943 as Kapitänleutnant und Leitender Ingenieur of the U-Boot “U-106”.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
