Oberwachtmeister Herbert Schneider (31.07.1915 † 01.12.2011) earned the Ritterkreuz on February 5, 1944 as Wachtmeister und Flakkampftruppführer of the 6. Batterie/ Flak-Regiment 49. Good condition. Measuring: Postcardsize. Comes with an extra signed document(s) covering his career.

Knight’s Cross: “During the defensive battles near Bolchow-Orel, in the summer of 1943, Wachtmeister Scheider succeeded in destroyed 25 Soviet tanks with his Flak gun. Later on during this fighting he would be heavily wounded by artillery fire on the 21.07.1943. In recognition of his achievements and devotion to duty during this time, he would receive the Knight’s Cross.”
