Hauptmann Horst Zobel (06.05.1918 † 02.10.1999) earned the Ritterkreuz on April 14, 1945 as Hauptmann and Kommandeur of the Panzer-Abteilung “Müncheberg” of the Panzer-Division “Müncheberg”. Zobel was awarded his Knight’s Cross for actions at the Seelow Heights, east of Berlin where his unit destroyed 59 Soviet tanks without a single German tank lost. Measuring 8×12 cm.
