Hauptmann Hugo Ritter (16.01.1911 in Maximiliansaus † 10.05.1989 in Germersheim) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on February 15, 1945 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Bataillon/ Grenadier-Regiment 529 of the 299. Infanterie-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
