Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Karl-Heinrich Welzel. Feldwebel Karl-Heinrich Welzel (28.08.1916 † 06.02.2002) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on January 16, 1944 with Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 and the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 5, 1944 as Feldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 7. Staffel/ Schlachtgeschwader 10.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
