Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Karl Kennel. Hauptmann Karl Kennel (17.01.1914 in Pirmasens † 01.07.1999 in Pirmasens) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on September 19, 1943 as Hauptmann und Staffelkapitän of the 5. Staffel/ Schlachtgeschwader 1 and the Eichenlaub on November 25, 1944 as Hauptmann und Kommandeur of the II. Gruppe/ Schlachtgeschwader 2.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
