Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Karl Ziegler. Major Karl Ziegler (01.11.1905 in Lagenlois † 12.01.1992 in Bregenz (Austria)) earned the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes on April 8, 1943 as Major und Kommandeur of the III. Bataillon/ Jäger-Regiment 207 of the 97. Jäger-Division.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
